Jaime 'Chipi' Muñoz suffers a brutal setback  (92nd in the world). The Madrilenian will have to  put his career on hold until 2026 , due to an injury to the  hip  which requires a  surgery .

For several months, Chipi had been playing with pain. He finally had to undergo tests, the results of which confirmed the worst:  mandatory intervention  and immediate end of season.

In a message posted on his social networks, he confides his sadness but keeps his head high:
"It's not easy to accept, but everything happens for a reason. Now I'm going to focus 100% on my recovery and enjoy my family a little. It's not always easy when you spend the year traveling and playing."

The player thanked his medical staff and sponsors for their support during this difficult time. A message of gratitude, but also of determination:
"Only those who know me know how I will come back."

The objective is clear:  come back stronger in 2026 , after rigorous rehabilitation. We obviously wish him the best for this difficult stage.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
