The  Pretoria P1 paintings  are now known. First step in the story of  Premier Padel  organized in  South Africa the tournament, played from  26 juillet au 2 aott , is already shaping up to be one of the highlights of the summer with several new partnerships and a women's field reshuffled by the withdrawal of . Andrea Ustero .

For the French, the draw was not kind to them.  Alix Collombon .

Associated with  Ksenia Sharifova The French number 1 will have to pull off a major feat right from the start of the competition.

The Franco-Russian duo will face  Alejandra Salazar  et  Aranza Osoro , seeded 7, in the first round. A particularly difficult match against two players who, despite an inconsistent season, remain benchmarks on the world circuit.

In the event of a victory, the draw could, however, open up slightly before a potential quarter-final against  Sofia Araújo  et  Marta Ortega , new top seed 4.

 Coello and Tapia towards a revenge against Lebrón? 

In the men's competition, the draw produced several highly anticipated matchups.

In the upper part,  Arturo Coello  et  Agustín Tapia  could quickly cross paths with the new pair  Gonza Alfonso / Tino Libaak before a possible quarter-final against  Coki Nieto  et  Jon sanz .

But all eyes are already on a possible semi-final against  Juan Lebrón  et  Leo Augsburg .

They arrive full of confidence after their superb run in Málaga, even though the final against the world number ones ended in a heavy defeat. Pretoria could offer a rematch between two of the most in-form pairs at the moment.

On their side,  Lebrón  et  Augsburgers  will first have to get rid of a portion of the painting which includes, among other things  Jofre / Bautista ,  Barahona / Chozas  or,  Leal / Guerrero .

 A lower section that is just as steep 

The second half of the picture is no less impressive.

 Ale Galán  et  Fede Chingotto  could meet again in the semi-finals  Franco Stupaczuk  et  mike yanguas , if they manage to get past a potential quarter-final against  Paquito Navarro  et  Martín Di Nenno .

 High-level quarter-finals are expected.

 The women's draw disrupted by Ustero's withdrawal 

The absence of Andrea Ustero Still suffering from a thigh injury, significantly alters the hierarchy.

Having already withdrawn from the Málaga tournament, the young Spaniard misses a second consecutive tournament alongside Ari Sánchez , leaving the 3rd seed position vacant.

The main beneficiaries are  Claudia Fernández  et  Martina Calvo who will begin their new association directly with this status. A highly anticipated entry for one of the most promising projects on the women's circuit.

In the same half of the table are  Gemma Triay  et  Delfi Brea , top seeds, as well as  Marta Ortega  et  Sofia Araújo who are also launching their new joint adventure.

The other main attraction of the tournament will be the start of  Fernandez / Calvo who could find  Paula Josemaría  et  Bea González  in the semi-finals if they live up to expectations.

Between new partnerships, the first reunions after the summer transfer window, the absence of Ustero, and some particularly enticing potential matchups,  This Pretoria P1 is shaping up to be a turning point in the season. Premier Padel . And for  Alix Collombon The challenge will be immediate, with a first round against  Salazar / Osoro , one of the most exciting matches of this early stage of the tournament.
