This Wednesday was the second part of the round of XNUMX of the World Padel Tour Miami and the top seeds were again intractable today.

The favorite pairs have not yet trembled in Miami. This is how we will find tomorrow the 8 seeded men and women.

Lots of show

On a day marked in particular by the presence of basketball player Jimmy Butler on the site, the public who came in large numbers were able to enjoy some very spectacular matches.

One of the biggest matches of the day was between Fernando Belasteguin/Arturo Coello and Coki Nieto/Miguel Yanguas and it kept its promises. In front of a full central, Bela and Arturo were very strong in the key moments to win 7/5 6/3 in a very spectacular match. In the night session, the spectators were then able to support local Wayne Boich and Mario Del Castillo against Javi Leal and Miguel Semmler. After a first set without appeal, the crowd's favorite pair will have fought a good battle in the second set but it was not enough to reverse the trend: victory Leal / Semmler 6/0 6/4.

For their very first official match, Maxi Sanchez and Pablo Lima produced a very serious performance against Pincho Fernandez and José Garcia Diestro: 6/3 6/4. In the other two matches of the day, the pairs Belluati/Moyano and Capra/Ruiz gave Gil/Silingo (6/3 6/1) and Alonso/Moya (6/1 6/0) no chance respectively.

The seeded 8 jostled in the ladies

In the women's table also the most highly rated pairs did the job on Wednesday. It was still hot for Eli Amatriain and Carolina Navarro who were taken by the throat of entry by Jimena Velasco and Esther Carnicero. But without giving in to panic, the veterans managed to take over their opponents after losing the first set: 4/6 6/3 6/3.

The Alayeto twins will have experienced a complicated second set against Barbara Las Heras and Veronica Virseda but they still came out with experience: 6/2 7/6.

As mentioned in a previous article, Alix Collombon and Jessica Castello were also solid when needed to eliminate Araceli Martinez and Claudia Fernandez: 6/4 6/1.

In the other two matches of the day, Bea Caldera and Carmen Goenaga dominate Canovas/Piltcher (6/1 6/3), while Clasca and Cortiles do the same against Polo Reiter (6/1 6/4).
