The show goes on Meriadeck this Friday, where the quarter-finals promise to be electric, both for men and women. It's as often one of the most beautiful days of the week with posters throughout the day.

Deprived of the world's best players last year, Bordeaux will this year be treated to some dream matches in these quarter-finals where the competition reaches its peak. The world's number 1 pair, Arturo Coello et Agustin Tapia, will face the Spanish duo Jeronimo gonzalez et Jon sanz, the latter being the defending champion of this tournament.

Another expected shock: the duel between Jose Antonio Diestro / Juanlu Esbri and the Argentinian pair Juan Tello / Martin Di Nenno, seeded No. 7. The latter, renowned for their power, will have to show rigor against a formidable duo in slow conditions.

Finally, the day will potentially close with the huge meeting between Pablo Cardona / Leandro Augsburger (n°8) facing Federico Chingotto / Alejandro Galan (n°2), one of the favorite pairs of the tournament.

Bréa/Triay's withdrawal opens the women's table

On the women's side, there's no shortage of headliners. The most anticipated clash pits the number 1 pair against each other, Ariana Sanchez et Paula Josemaria, to young people Alejandra Alonso et Claudia jensen (TS7).

Claudia fernandez et Bea Gonzalez will be opposed to the very experienced Lucia Sainz et Patricia Llaguno (n°8), Claudia who defends her title obtained last year alongside Gemma Triay.

Finally, the young Spanish talents Jessica castello et Lorena Rufo will challenge Andrea Ustero Prieto / Sofia Araujo (TS4), in a match that could offer a first semi-final together for Castello/Rufo.
