Le Bordeaux P2 and Paris Major 2025 are announced as key stages of the calendar Premier Padel. Scheduled for the beginning of July, the Bordeaux P2 offers a strategic slot, while the Paris Major, set from 8 14 in September 2025, promises an even more emblematic edition in the heart of Roland Garros. With calendar adjustments and contractual issues for Premier Padel and the FFT, these two French tournaments could mark a turning point for the growth of padel in France.

Bordeaux P2: June 28 to July 6, 2025

Good news for the Bordeaux P2 : the tournament will be held the first week of July, a strategic period. Placed just after the Valladolid P2, he will certainly benefit from the week of break before the Málaga P1, expected from 14 au 20 juillet. This calendar seems ideal, especially since Players will not suffer fatigue from South American tour, unlike 2024, when the tournament took place from 9 to 16 June. The weather conditions, although hot, should be more bearable inside the Mériadeck Ice Rink. Everything is therefore in place for the best players in the world to be present at this French event.

Paris Major: September 8 to 14, 2025

All eyes are also on the Paris Major 2025, a major event for padel. However, talks are still in progress between Premier Padel and French Tennis Federation (FFT). Although the date is set from September 8 to 14, 2025, Premier Padel suggests that a change could be considered if a final agreement is not reached.

Despite these uncertainties, it is unlikely that this event will be cancelled. Paris Major, played in the prestigious facilities of Roland Garros, is considered one of the most emblematic showcases of world padel. In 2024, the competition, placed just after the Olympic Games, had been a great success despite cool weather conditions. In early September, the period will be much more favorable for an outdoor tournament.

It will also be a symbolic edition, marking the 4nd year of the event. The FFT, which considers this competition a priority, has invested massively to anchor it in the long term. The best French players will be able to participate, with the key to valuable wild cards, essential for progressing on the professional circuit.
