The first quarter-finals of the Bordeaux P2 tournament have concluded. Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto dominated their matches to reach the semi-finals. In the women's draw, the first real upset came from Tamara Icardo and Claudia Jensen, who eliminated Sofia Araújo and Claudia Fernández after a hard-fought battle.

Galán and Chingotto leave no opening

We were expecting a good match against  Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz , seeded No. 5. In the end, nothing came of it.

Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto  delivered a very accomplished performance to secure the win.  6 / 1 6 / 3  in just 51 minutes.

Already very convincing for several weeks, the Spaniard and the Argentinian confirm their status as favorites in this Bordeaux P2. Solid in all aspects of the game, they reach the semi-finals without having been truly troubled.

Josemaría and González continue their demonstration

In the women's table,  Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez  continue to impress.

After having largely dominated  Alix Collombon and Ksenia Sharifova  In the round of 16, the recent Valladolid P2 champions confirmed their form against the surprising  Noa Canovas and Maria Rodriguez , who defeated Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo in the previous round.

Clear victory  6 / 3 6 / 2  For the number 2 seed, who is confirming her excellent form. In the very slow playing conditions in Bordeaux, Paula Josemaría and Bea González seem to be the clear favorites to win a second consecutive title.
