Fourth confrontation, fourth victory  for  Ale Galán  et  Fede Chingotto  facing the duo  Di Nenno / Tello . But this semi-final of the  Bordeaux Premier Padel P2  was not easy.

A solid start, an alert quickly controlled

The match begins with a  entry station wagon  for Galán and Chingotto. But their opponents react immediately with a  debake éclair At 2/2, the fight really begins. Unfortunately for Tello, a rush on his service game costs them dearly. Galán and Chingotto take advantage to  resume the break . Solid as usual, they managed the advantage until the end to pocket the  first round 6/4 .

The turning point missed by Tello and Di Nenno

In the  second set , Tello and Di Nenno are clearly stepping up their game. More aggressive, more precise, they  dominate the debates  and obtain  four break points  at 3/2. But Galán and Chingotto, faithful to their status as  world number 2 , bring out the barbed wire. They save every opportunity and reverse the dynamic of the match.

At 4/4, it's Galán and Chingotto's turn to strike, with a break at the perfect moment. But as they serve for the match, their arm trembles.  Tello pulls out all the stops  and allows his team to  break in a critical moment .

 An electric tie-break to conclude

So let's make way for  tie-breaker  to conclude this arm wrestling. Tello and Di Nenno take the advantage, until  lead 5-3 And there, everything changes:  contentious point , Di Nenno protests, Galán gets annoyed, tempers flare. The point is finally awarded to Galán, and the atmosphere suddenly becomes tense. In this nervous end to the match, it is Galán and Chingotto who keep their heads and  fold the match in a stifling tie-break .

A summit final against the world number 1s

Tomorrow, it's time for the big meeting.  Galán and Chingotto will meet Coello and Tapia  in the final, for a  long-awaited clash between the two best pairs in the world The Bordeaux public dreamed of it, and they will have it.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
