The installation and setting up of the three padel courts continues at the Arkea Arena for the first edition of the Betclic Bordeaux Premier Padel.
Jérémy Scatena, the president of 100% Padel, partner of the international tournament, continues to take us behind the scenes of the installation before the start of the competition:
“We are still at the Arkea Arena in Bordeaux, we worked very late last night. We have installed the parquet, there are 700 square meters of parquet, we have started to install the structures, we are starting to install the spots for the lighting. Everyone works at the same time, it's well established.

We will install the windows, tomorrow morning we will apply the silicone, we will lay the grass, and I think we will be one of the first tournaments of the year where all the players from the qualifiers will be able to train quietly on the 100% padel courts.
For the central track, as we have the most beautiful light show ever made for a padel tournament, we will not start until tomorrow afternoon.
Tomorrow, there are 48 people coming to work in the room, it will be magnificent, with exceptional light shows. As soon as the lights in the room are installed, we can lay the parquet floor and the central track.
Tomorrow, electrical installation, parquet flooring, central track, it will be magnificent. Come to this event and see you soon.”
