Unofficial start of the Betclic Bordeaux Premier Padel 2024 this Tuesday. This magnificent enclosure which will welcome from next Sunday the best players of padel of the planet will have 3 tracks padel.

And the good news, the Arena is filling up very positively since around 8000 seats have been sold in less than 10 days.

The team of the tournament director, Jean-Thomas Peyrou, already says it is “very satisfied with a Saturday which will be full and the bar of 15.000 places has been crossed”.

We find behind the scenes of the installations and at the forefront, the former French number one, Jérémy Scatena, the President of 100% Padel, in charge of setting up the tracks padel : “The players only see the glitter, but there is enormous work behind the scenes to offer the most beautiful spectacle. With a team of 12 people, we will offer premium slopes.”

The pressure is there, however: the organizers must manage the time allotted and the technical obligations of the site. Especially since, unlike the majority of stages of the professional circuit in 2024, the P2 will stand out by offering an exceptional system from the qualifying phases.

“We want the qualifying players not to be sent to clubs or away from the village. It is very important for all these players to come and play at the Arkea Arena in Bordeaux. We will offer all players the same service, that is our ambition.”
