This Thursday's night session offered us the last 3 matches of the 8th finals of this Bordeaux P2, including "Chingalan" on the men's side but also Ari Sanchez and Paula Josemaria on the women's side.

Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria,  #1 seeded  of the tournament, left no chance to the pair from the qualifications  Ana Catarina Nogueira  et  Martina Fassio , imposing itself sharply  6 / 1 6 / 1 .

Despite their good performance in qualifying,  Nogueira and Fassio  were overwhelmed in all areas of the game. Facing the best pair in the world, they never managed to establish their game or disrupt the  Sanchez/Josemaria's well-oiled machine. 

Chingalan sets the record straight

After a complicated first round against  Jofre/Arroyo,   Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto  this time played their padel to win solidly against the Portuguese  Miguel and Nuno Deus . Clear score:  6 / 2 6 / 2 , and a clear message sent to the rest of the board.

Unlike their sluggish entry into the tournament, “ Chingalan " displayed great physical intensity this time. The two sets were won in just over an hour of play, with a  Galán very inspired  and  Chingotto  true to himself: precise, regular and tireless.

Diestro/Esbri stop Rico/Ayats' journey

 Arnau Ayats and Josete Rico , who defeated in the qualifications of  Forcin/Tison  stop in the 8th final after a magnificent run in this  Bordeaux P2 They came up against a pair in form,  Diestro/Esbri, one of the few teams to have beaten Coello/Tapia this season The two Spaniards win  6/2 7/6 and in turn reach the quarter-finals.
