Convincing debuts for Javi Garrido and Leonel “Tolito” Aguirre  in Bordeaux Premier Padel P2. In their first match together, the Spaniard and the Argentinian were able to turn around a bad situation to win.  3/6 6/3 6/1  face  Gonzalo Rubio  et  Javi Ruiz .

The first set did not bode well.  Garrido and Tolito  give in on the score of  3/6 .

But everything changes at the start of the second set.  Garrido is gaining momentum , becomes more enterprising, dares more in return and begins to dictate the game.  Tolito , true to his unpredictable style, brings his touch of madness at the perfect moment. The duo  reverses the dynamics  and equalizes at one set each ( 6/3 ), with a clear improvement in his service games and a stronger psychological impact.

In the third,  the two men unroll . Opposite, Rubio and Ruiz lower the foot, without response to the imposed rhythm. The final score,  6/1 , reflects this progressive domination.

This victory has a special value for  Javi Garrido , who is coming out of a difficult period. After  69 days without a victory on the circuit Premier Padel , he had found his smile again  Valladolid , and this success in Bordeaux confirms its  back in shape .

Next step :  a clash against Paquito Navarro and Lucas Bergamini  in the round of 16. A real-life test for this new, explosive duo.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
