End of day at Bordeaux Premier Padel P2 , with a great battle on the central track in this last men's semi-final. It was the poster for the outsiders since Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz (TS5) met Lucas Bergamini and Pablo Cardona (TS7).

Balanced beginnings

Difficult to decide between the two pairs during the first set, the teams each playing at a very high level. This round does not see the slightest break, the pairs on the track winning their engagements with enormous authority.

The two teams must decide in the tie-break. Once again, we are treated to a confrontation between two equal pairs. Finally, the advantage shifted to the side of the 7th seed, Cardona/Bergamini, who managed to gain the upper hand, right at the right time, to take a first advantage in this semi-final: 7/6 (4).

The Nieto/Sanz recital

After this first set, the match took on a completely different character. Where the game seemed balanced between the two teams, Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz were able to raise their level of play at the best of times to advance in the second set. They twice transformed the break opportunities to completely fly away in the second set. The Spanish pair therefore returns to the level of their opponents: 6/2.

No time to lose in the third round for the 5th seed which took place from the start of the set, winning the first four games of this meeting, without leaving the slightest chance to the opponents.

Sanz/Nieto is in steamroller mode, while we see Cardona sometimes pulling the pin while attempting improbable shots. It's the double break in less than 15 minutes.

Symbolic of this 3rd set, Cardona's gross error at 5/2 on a failed smash from Sanz allows the 5th seed to conclude this semi-final with a clear and clear 6/2.
