Le P1000 The Hangar, held from October 10 to 12 near Avignon, promises to be one of the highlights of this October. With a final draw featuring several big names in French padel, the tournament promises a high level of play.

Boronad and Verdier in search of a first title

En seeded 1, we find Yoan Boronad (n°9) et Thibault Verdier (n°87).
Boronad, recent bronze medalist at the Junior World Championship et French U18 champion. Member of the great French team, it will be one of the attractions of the weekend.
Alongside him, Verdier, a regular on the circuit, has already reached several semi-finals in P1000 and remains on a 4th place at Arsenal PadelTogether, they will have the ambition to win the title.

Dugardin and Roulleau to shake up the hierarchy

En seeded 2, Antoine Dugardin (n°98) et Cyril Roulleau (n°99) form a solid and homogeneous pair, accustomed to the last squares on the P1000. Constantly placed but never winning, they aim a place in the final or even victory.

The Samitier brothers lead the 3rd series

En seeded 3, brothers Lucien (No. 101) et Pierre Samitier (n°118) continue their steady progress. Highly complementary, they come from a 5th place at Arsenal Padel and might well play the party pooper.

Roger Aromi, the international asset

La seeded 4 will be composed of Roger Aromi-Siquier (201st in the world) et Marc-Édouard Chavey (French no. 212).
Former 128th in the world, Aromi brings an Iberian touch and international experience. A hybrid, but dangerous pair, capable of knock off the favorites if the mayonnaise takes from the first turns.

Outsiders ready to seize their chance

Among seeds 5 to 10, several duos will be worth following closely.
We think in particular of Loïc Le Panse (n°44) et Théo Barthe (n°226), seeded 6, two Narbonne players capable of going far. Or the seed 9 Florian Hue (n°52) with Nathan Perrot (°287).
La seeded 10, Lanchen Seghiri (No. 340) et Timéo Fonteny (n°8), also attracts attention. Fonteny, recent bronze medalist at the World Junior Championships, is one of the most promising young French hopefuls and could well make an impression this week-end.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
