Le 2021 World does not yet have an official date or host country but the Brazil is already very motivated. The preseason allowed the male selection to carry out a first preparatory training course and thus to offer a mark for Ramiro Choya, the new coach.

November is preparing for February

Postponed for one year because of the global pandemic, the Mondial de padel is not yet certain to take place. For now, we still do not know when and where it will be organized. The forecasts are going well. For now, these are leaning to Qatar, which would thus recover the tournament planned for 2020, in November, insofar as the FIP European Championships will be played at the end of June-beginning of July 2021. This uncertainty does not concern Brazil for the moment. The Auriverde Federation (COBRAPA) used the last moments of the preseason to reunite their men's team in Porto Alegre, in the south-east of the country.

Draft collective methodology

On this occasion, 10 players took part in several training sessions before returning to the Old Continent path. The two Lucas, Bergamini and Campagnolo, 'Chico' Gomes, Joao Pedro Flores, André Freitas, Bruno Nakid, Juliano Bergamini, Júlio Julianoti, Matheus Simonato and Stefano Flores have thus been under the orders of Patric Leaes, the assistant coach.

At the same time, these training sessions were filmed to allow Ramiro Choya, the new Brazilian manager, to analyze the proposed game and to better understand the characteristics of his players, thus accelerating the implementation of its methodology. Renowned technician, Choya was appointed in August 2020 with the objective of getting closer to the level of Argentina, the great South American rival. Brazil has a pool of players that grows year after year and the presence of Pablo Lima, former world number 1 who will team up in 2021 with Agustín Tapia, is a powerful catalyst for the practice of padel dans le pays.
