Under a summer sun and before a large crowd, the Chantilly Sport club in Villeneuve-d'Ascq hosted its traditional Men's P1000 tournament from May 22nd to 24th. At the end of a weekend marked by a high level of play and a friendly atmosphere, Thomas Brechemier and Matthieu Gonzalez claimed the title, defeating Paul Forichon and Guillaume Ledrap in the final. 

Faithful to the club's schedule for over five years, the  P1000 from Chantilly Sport  has once again brought together many competitors and enthusiasts of  paddle  about  Hauts-de-France Spectators were able to enjoy hard-fought matches throughout the weekend, in ideal conditions.

The final pitted the tournament's top two seeds against each other.  seeded 2 , made of  Thomas Brechemier  et  Matthew Gonzalez managed to get the better of  Paul Forichon / Guillaume Ledrap  (TS1) after a battle lasting more than two hours.

After winning the first set 6-4, Brechemier and Gonzalez saw their opponents level the score by taking the second set in a tiebreak. In a closely contested third set, the second seed finally prevailed to secure the victory.  6/4 6/7 6/3  and win the trophy.

 The remarkable return of Étienne Brouillard 

Among the highlights of this edition was also the performance of Etienne Brouillard Former coach of  Chantilly Sport He was making his return to competition after a long period of absence due to injury.

Associated to  Tom Houzeaux He reached the semi-finals and finished third after narrowly missing out on a place in the final. This encouraging comeback was warmly welcomed by the club's regulars.

 Spectacle on the slopes and conviviality around 

Beyond the results, this 2026 edition primarily highlighted the quality of the  paddle  offered on the courts. The participants provided many spectacular exchanges while displaying an excellent spirit, appreciated by both the organizers and the public.

Conviviality, the hallmark of  Chantilly Sport , continued after the matches thanks to the great  terrace  of the complex and its  five pétanque courts which became the gathering point for players, coaches and supporters to close out the weekend.

With successful organization, a large turnout, and a high level of play, this  P1000 from Chantilly Sport  confirms once again its place among the important events of the  French padel  in Hauts-de-France.
