Le Brussels P2 Premier Padel offers us a royal finale this Sunday with two dream finals. In both the men's and women's competitions, the two best pairs in the world will face off for the title, in a unique environment. Harbor Station from Brussels.
Men's final: Coello / Tapia vs Galán / Chingotto, an unbalanced rivalry?
In gentlemen, Arturo Coello et Agustín Tapia will find Alejandro Galán et Federico Chingotto for a new chapter in their rivalry.
After their duel at the Qatar Major A week ago, won by Coello / Tapia, the Brussels final promises to be an intense battle... but recent history is clearly in favor of the world number 1s: In their last eight finals against Galán and Chingotto, Coello and Tapia have won each time.
Yesterday, Coello and Tapia perfectly controlled their semi-final against Paquito Navarro et Lucas Bergamini (6/4 6/3 in 1h05), relying on their impressive offensive efficiency (38 winning points, 25 successful smashes).
Galan and Chingotto, for their part, resisted Di Nenno / Tello (7 / 5 7 / 5) in a very close match, thanks in particular to the solidity of Chingotto and the sense of tempo of Galán, impressive in key moments.
A year after their very first title together here, Galán and Chingotto will try to reverse the dynamic, but the Tapia / Coello mountain seems more imposing than ever.
Women's final: Josemaría / Sánchez vs Brea / Triay, Brea and Triay want to remain sovereign
In the women's final, the Paula Josemaría et Ariana Sánchez à Delfina Brea et Gemma Triay for the fourth time this year.
And for now, the advantage is total: Brea and Triay have won the first three meetings of 2025.
Yesterday, Josemaría and Sánchez dominated their semi-final against Alejandra Salazar et Verónica Virseda (6 / 3 6 / 3) by finding a more solid and much more fluid game than in their previous releases.
Brea and Triay, they had to deliver a epic fight salary. Bea González et Claudia Fernández (6/2 4/6 7/5), winning mentally after being led 5/3 in the last set.
With four titles won this season, Brea and Triay continue to assert their ambition: to dethrone Paula and Ari at the top of the world rankings.
A little historical nod : last year, in Brussels, Delfi Brea had established itself alongside Bea GonzálezThis year, she will try to retain her title alongside Gemma Triay.

Two classics, but very different dynamics
While the two posters appear balanced on paper, recent dynamics show a clear domination:
- In the men's race, Coello / Tapia have won their last eight finals against Galán / Chingotto
- In the women's category, Brea/Triay have won their three clashes this season against Josemaría / Sánchez.
Suffice it to say that the outsiders will have their work cut out to reverse the trend this Sunday in Brussels. But in a final, anything can happen...

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
