Opposed to two other French women, Charlotte Soubrié (n ° 166) and Louise Bahurel (n°167), the favorites won 6 / 3 6 / 4 in a serious and applied match.

Faced with a combative opposition, Godallier and Bellver were able to make their experience count in key moments. A logical victory for Godallier and Bellver.

The next step promises to be formidable. To reach the main board, Godallier and Bellver will have to bring down the seeded 1 qualifications: Marina lobo (n ° 46) and Sofia Saiz (n°42), this Tuesday in second 10am rotation on court 2.

A tough challenge against a very strong Spanish pair, but the momentum is encouraging for the Frenchwoman and the Spaniard. After reaching the second round in Qatar Major, and ideally launched their tournament at Brussels, both players have the weapons to create a surprise.
