There are no more French representatives in the men's competition at the Buenos Aires P1. After a convincing first round against the other 100% French pair composed of Johan Bergeron and Timéo Fonteny, Yoan Boronad and Bastien Blanqué saw their journey end in the second round of the pre-tournaments.

Facing the fourth seed in the qualifiers, the Spanish-Argentine pair Agustín Gutiérrez / Salva Oria, the French lost in two sets: 7/5 6/0.

A match where the first set was very close, raising hopes for a longer battle, before the opposing pair took complete control in the second set.

A slight disappointment also for Dylan Guichard and his Italian partner Marco Cassetta. The Franco-Italian pair, seeded 5th in the qualifiers and favorites in their section of the draw, ultimately lost in their opening match against the Spaniards Diego García and Santiago José Pineda Cabello by a score of 6/3 6/4.

As is often the case this season on the professional circuit, it is now Alix Collombon who will carry the last French hopes in Buenos Aires.

Teaming up with Spain's Jana Montes, the Frenchwoman will face Lucía Martínez and Águeda Pérez directly in the main draw.

The match is scheduled for around 23:30 pm French time, or 18:30 pm local time in Buenos Aires.
