The French Alix Collombon (29) and the Spanish Araceli Martinez (27) started their journey in Argentina with a superb victory in the first round of the Buenos Aires P1, by winning 0/6 6/3 6/4 against the Spanish Marina Guinart Spain (21) et Victoria Iglesias Segador (24)

A three-set victory achieved in just over two hours of play. Colombon et Martinez had a difficult start, conceding the first set 6/0 (again after that of the FIP Finals final), but were able to react to reverse the momentum of the match. More effective on the return of serve, they achieved the decisive break in the final set, before concluding on their serve.
