Laura Buteau and Morena Suarez experienced two completely opposite matches during their participation in the FIP Star tournament. After a encouraging victory in the first round, the Franco-Argentinian duo encountered serious difficulties against the No. 5 seeded pair, Ferreyra/Valenzuela.

A clear defeat

Last night, Buteau (349) and Suarez (ARG – 493) won a great victory against Eva Marcus and Estela Dominguez Diaz, opponents ranked well below them.
