The De Benito / Herreros pair participated in the P2000 des Pyramides. The two Spanish players lost in two sets (7/6 6/4) as soon as they entered the fray.
More coaches than players
Jorge De Benito: I mainly work in Madrid as a coach. I also work with 4padel Bordeaux by going back and forth. I am also l'coach of Lea Godallier and Laura Clergue. They are doing well lately on the World Padel Tour. I come here to enjoy the tournament!
Luis Herreros: Last year I started to train Austrian players from World Padel Tour. We were in Vienna, but with the Covid situation, I had to go back to Spain. We are trying to organize ourselves to resume training. Austrian players still have not resumed competition while the WPT is on.
The Pyramids, incredible infrastructures
Jorge De Benito: It's still amazing ! I have never seen a center like this. It's true that in Madrid we have private centers that look a bit like the Pyramids, but we've done the full tour of the facilities here, and it's really amazing.
Luis Herreros: When we arrived with Jorge, we were just talking about the fact that in Spain we do not have such facilities. We were quite surprised. What arrival of padel in France ! With a wonderful club like this.
