Given the health context linked to Covid-19 and in accordance with government measures (decree n ° 2020-293 of March 23, 2020) still in force which recall "the ban on collective sports practice", the French Tennis Federation, after consultation with the leagues and clubs, is forced to cancel the upcoming trials and events detailed below.

The official press release of the FFT: HERE

Indeed, the organization of the qualifying phases which were to take place during the next weeks or months makes it impossible to maintain these said tests.
The FFT has also decided to keep the rankings of all competitors to a minimum at the end of the sports season

The canceled tests or events are therefore the following:

• The French Interclub Senior Team Championships (events initially scheduled for May). Please note, the ascents and descents are blocked between the regional level and the national level for the coming season.

• The Individual French Championships, all categories (events initially scheduled for June, July and August, regional qualifications usually taking place in April / May).

• The French individual wheelchair tennis championships (event initially scheduled from June 25 to 28).

• The French championships for wheelchair tennis teams (event initially scheduled for April 24 and 25).

• The French Beach Tennis Seniors and 15/16 years old championships (regional phase initially planned for June 20 and 21; final phase initially planned for August 20 to 22).

• The French championships of Padel (regional phase initially scheduled for June 27 and 28; final phase initially scheduled for September 25 to 27).

• The FFT Padel Tour (six stages and one masters initially scheduled from April to October).

• FFT Teen Snowshoes (final phase scheduled for June 13 and 14) and FFT Snowshoes (qualifications scheduled for spring and final phase scheduled for September 18 to 20).

• The Tennis Festival (June 6 and 7). • The French e-tennis championships (final phase initially planned for May).

With regard to departmental and regional team or individual championships, the committees and leagues have the free choice to maintain, postpone or cancel their organization (as soon as government provisions come to authorize it). If the regional championship were to take place, it would not be the subject of a possibility of qualification in individual French championships or rise to the team championship.

With regard to the Jeu de Paume sporting events, the French Courte Paume Committee has the freedom to maintain, postpone or cancel their organization (as soon as government provisions authorize it).

About the rankings:
In view of this completely atypical season, the FFT has taken the decision to block the classification of players after the last monthly classification calculated in March. If there is a resumption of competitions, the monthly ranking will be calculated again and this until the end of the season, thus allowing players (his) with the sufficient number of points to go up in the ranking but in no case to go down .
