We are back in Isla Padel after the first women's semi-final of the Beautiful FIP Star Plan. The finalists Carla Toully et Anna Dominguez are now preparing for the final. Here is their reaction after this great victory.

Journalist (Mario Cordero): Carla, you are in the final of a FIP Star. It's a first for you. How do you feel after this semi-final? You had a little dip in form at one point, but otherwise it went pretty smoothly.

Carla Toully : I'm very happy to be in the final, that was the goal. Indeed, a little bit of a lull... Since we arrived, we've had a little trouble moving our legs. The conditions, especially the wind, make it difficult to maintain a constant intensity. At times, you really have to remotivate yourself to find a good rhythm. But we were able to react, and it did us good.

Journalist : Ana, how do you feel here, and what do you think of the organization of the tournament in general?

Anna Dominguez : The club is incredible, way beyond what we imagined. We feel better and better and I think that with Carla, we get to know each other better on the field. I am delighted with this final which is coming very soon at 15 p.m..

Journalist : Carla, let's talk about this final. You're going to face a pair (Arellano/Lujan) that you recently met in Kuwait, with a 7-5, 6-3 defeat in the first round of qualifying. What changes here and what do you plan to do to reverse the result?

Carla Toully : The conditions are totally different. In Kuwait, it was indoors, on very slow courts. Here, it's much faster, the ball comes out of the windows better, and there's wind and sun. That changes everything. In Kuwait, we were ahead in the first set, but we couldn't keep the advantage. In the second, we got broken right away and it was difficult to come back. It was frustrating, especially for Ana, because it was against her former partner. This time, we're very happy to meet them again so quickly in the final. We really want revenge.

Journalist : Ana, what are you going to change in tactics to beat them this afternoon?

Anna Dominguez : I won't reveal our tactics (laughs), but it will be a very balanced game. The external conditions make the game different. We will try to find solutions during the match to make the difference. We hope the result will be in our favor this time.

The pair Touly/Dominguez showed great determination to reach this final, despite difficult conditions. Their desire for revenge against a pair they know well promises an interesting match to follow. See you this afternoon at Isla Padel or Padel TV Mag from 15 p.m.
