We had the pleasure of testing an incredibly precise high-end racquet: the Cartri Triumph Pro Cup, handcrafted in Spain.

La Cartri Triumph Pro Cup is a very high-end pala, in the shape of a drop of water, rather light (369g for the model that was sent to us).

First impressions

This Triumph Pro Cup is just beautiful. Shiny black paint which reveals the carbon, rough finish, we are dealing with a real gem. The materials used, such as 24K carbon or Kevlar are quite simply the best on the market today.

As always with Cartri, we have the feeling of having a really solid pala in the hands, and the materials used exude quality.

In defense

We tell you right away, this Cartri Triumph Pro Cup, because of having Kevlar and 24k Carbon has a rather stiff touch. It will bring you a lot of precision in the lobs and chiquitas : you will put the ball where you want!

The fact that she doesn't have the weight in mind makes her particularly handy and it is therefore a pure delight in defense. Mid-density MultiEva foam gives you the ball exit you need to get out of the toughest situations. For a pala intended for top level players, the sweet-spot is quite acceptable and offsets are well tolerated.

On the fly

Again it is a treat, the rigid touch of the pala allows you toaccelerate volleys with precision. 24k carbon allows you to hit really hard while keeping the ball in the field. When blocking, the racket being rigid, you do not risk sending the ball into the windows, but it will take a little more to find length, the same on lobed volleys.

The rough surface in the strike zone allows you to give maximum effect to the ball. The fact that the pala is light and very manoeuvrable makes you feel really comfortable at the net.

On high balls

Admittedly, this racquet is not in the shape of a diamond and at first glance, it does not seem to be intended for pure smashers. Admittedly, its weight is not really distributed towards the racket head, but it remains nonetheless formidable at the smash.

The mixture of medium density Eva foam and 24k carbon on the sides bring a lot of power on strong smashes. Plus, its balance, maneuverability and stiffness allow you to put the ball literally where you want on worked smashes and bandejas.

En conclusion

We were impressed with this racket which did no fault, apart from its obviously high price (380 €), the pala being made by hand in Spain, and using the best technologies available on the market.

At the same time powerful, easy to handle, light, and precise, it is a real favorite for us. If you are a player of advanced to expert level and that you have the means to afford this Cartri Triumph Pro Cup, go for it you will not be disappointed!

She was chosen by the young player of the World Padel Tour José Solano, a very strong right-wing player in defense and solid at the net.
