Cedric Catterman, manager of Padel Factory Pau, comes to our microphone during the second stage of the Cupra Padel Tour 2024.
A brand new club with eight tracks
“I started padel in 2019 and it was really love at first sight. And so, I asked myself the question of completely changing my professional path and starting a padel project. I started my project at that time and it was set up in 2020 on a first club with four courts. There was good momentum, it took off very quickly, and I decided to start on a project of eight tracks and we opened there very recently about 200 meters from the old one and on a project of 8 courts on new.”
“I had already played a little tennis, but it wasn't really my favorite sport, it was more squash which I played quite regularly, once or twice a week, but not at a high level. Racket games have always been a passion for me: ping-pong, a little pelota too.”

Excellent feedback for the Cupra Padel Tower !
“We have had great feedback. I experienced it as a player last year at PadelNBlock in Mont-de-Marsan, I know the club and the managers very well and I was approached by Cupra to take this step. It was important to me to do it because as a player, I had a great time with many activities, it's open to everyone, to children, to spectators...
The feedback I have received there is great moments for everyone, the spectators, the players, the children. It’s an event worth maintaining!”
New padel fan, I am fascinated by this dynamic sport that combines strategy and agility. I find in padel a new passion to explore and share with you on Padel Magazine.
