A full week of youth padel concluded in Cabriès with the national titles awarded from U12 to U18. From Occitanie's victory in the U12 Interleague tournament to the U18 titles won by Victoria Isaac/Lison Chrétien Meal and Jérémy Robert/Olivier Guy de Chamisso, here's a look back at the main results, rankings, and key performances. French Youth Championships 2026. 

U12: Occitanie crowned French champions ahead of PACA

In the U12 category, the competition was held in the form of  Interleagues And that's finally it.  Occitania  who leaves with the title of French champion.

The region is ahead  Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur , While  Île-de-France completes the podium .

The U12 podium:

  1.  Occitanie 
  2.  Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur 
  3.  Ile-de-France 

A victory that was not totally assured given the starting hierarchy: in the composition of the teams, Occitanie had the best cumulative "weight" ahead of PACA, but the gap remained relatively small between the two selections.

U14 girls: Laforge / Le Roux live up to their status

In the U14 girls' category,  Lylwenn Laforge and Elise Le Roux , the number 1 seed, lived up to their ranking perfectly.

Their approach has been particularly authoritarian. They notably sidelined Oliveira/Ballay  6 / 0 6 / 1  in the quarter-finals, then Cassagne/Picon  6 / 0 6 / 0  in the semi-final. In the final, they dominated  Chloé Le Jeune / Loïs Meyer , seeded 3,  6 / 4 6 / 0 .

The final ranking podium:

  1.  Laforge / Le Roux 
  2.  The Younger / Meyer 
  3.  Dubois / Badina 

No real surprises for the title then, but a slight change in the hierarchy with Le Jeune/Meyer finishing second ahead of  Dubois / Badina , seeded 2.

U14 boys: Bessière / Pottier defeat the top seed

The U14 boys' draw featured more action.

 Gabriel Bessière / Tyrone Pottier , seeded 2, become French champions by dominating in the final  Sacha Devriendt / Siméo Debroy , seeded 1,  6 / 3 6 / 4 .

Bessière/Pottier had previously eliminated Zarzouki/Santos in the semi-finals  6 / 2 6 / 3 On the other side of the bracket, Devriendt/Debroy had to battle against Terminet/Segura before prevailing.  6 / 1 7 / 5 .

The podium:

  1.  Bessière / Pottier 
  2.  Devriendt / Debroy 
  3.  Terminet / Segura 

The main piece of information is therefore the victory of the  seeded 2 against seeded 1  finally.

U16 girls: Charpentier / Debroy turn the tide in the final

In the U16 girls' category,  Augustine Charpentier / Zia Debroy , the number 1 seeds, confirmed their status, but their final was much more complicated than their previous run.

After winning the quarter-final  6 / 0 6 / 1 , they dominate Greff / Garot  6 / 1 6 / 1  In the semi-finals. In the final,  Louise Clorennec-Beuzit / Alice Rolland , seeded 2, take the first set from them.

Charpentier / Debroy eventually reversed the trend to clinch the title in three sets:  4/6 7/5 6/1 .

  2.  Clorennec-Beuzit / Rolland 
  3.  Stage / Nguyen Ba 
  4.  Greff / Garot 

A final between the top two seeds, and therefore a hierarchy that was generally respected.

U16 boys: Perrot / Huard de la Marre after a crazy final

This is certainly one of the closest matches of the week.

La  1th seed Nathan Perrot / Sacha Huard de la Marre  wins the title against the 2nd seed  Victor Caby / Louis Cacheux  after three sets:  6/4 4/6 7/6 .

The champions' journey was anything but easy. After winning the quarter-finals  6 / 2 6 / 1 Perrot / Huard de la Marre had to go through a tie-break in their semi-final before facing Caby / Cacheux for the title.

  1.  Parrot / Loon of the Marre 
  2.  Caby / Hidden 
  3.  Hemery / Mura 
  4.  Gueguen / Valigiani 

Here again, the top two seeds find themselves in their rightful place at the top of the rankings.

U18 girls: Isaac / Christian Meal above

In the U18 girls' category,  Victoria Isaac / Lison Chrétien Meal  confirmed their status as favorites.

From the group stage onwards, they displayed their ambition by notably dominating Guerin Dubourg / Leroch  6 / 1 6 / 4 , then Piquet / Piquet  6 / 0 6 / 0 .

They ultimately finished as French champions ahead of  Alice Aznar / Louisa Andre .

The final ranking:

  2.  Aznar / Andre 
  3.  Lefort / Loiseau 
  4.  Michelis / Laplace 
  5.  Guerin Dubourg / Leroch

Isaac and Chrétien Meal were also the two highest-ranked individual players on the U18 list, respectively  53nd and 56rd French .

U18 boys: Robert / Guy de Chamisso leave no room for doubt

In the boys' competition, the top seed  Jeremy Robert / Olivier Guy de Chamisso  has perfectly assumed his status.

Their record is impressive: victory  6 / 0 6 / 1  in eighth grade,  6 / 0 6 / 1  in quarter, then  6 / 3 6 / 1  in the semi-finals before a final victory  6 / 1 6 / 4  face  Quentin Bernard / Johan Peloux , seeded 2.

The first four places correspond exactly to the top four seeds:

  1.  Robert / Guy de Chamisso 
  2.  Bernard / Peloux 
  3.  Baud / Morvan 
  4.  Boisselier / Bernard 

Robert/Guy de Chamisso started with a significant advantage on paper: Jérémy Robert was  11th French  and Olivier Guy de Chamisso  14e , far ahead of most of the other players involved in the category.

Few major surprises, but some deviations from the hierarchy

In the end, these 2026 French Youth Championships mostly confirmed the predicted hierarchies.

In U14 girls, U16 girls, U16 boys, U18 girls and U18 boys, the favorites or number 1 seeds were present.  The clearest exception comes from the U14 boys , where Bessière / Pottier, seeded 2, took the lead over Devriendt / Debroy, seeded 1.

Several finals nevertheless showed very different scenarios: clear domination by Laforge / Le Roux in U14, reversal by Charpentier / Debroy after losing the first set in U16 girls, decisive tie-break in U16 boys and demonstration by Robert / Guy de Chamisso throughout the U18 draw.

A week that primarily allows us to take a snapshot of the  new generation of French padel , with several names that we should quickly see in the higher categories.
