The PACA region triumphs against Occitanie and wins the final.
After an almost perfect run, marked in particular by their victory in the semi-final against ARA,
PACA succeeds Hauts-de-France, winners last year against the same finalists, Occitanie.

The remake of the 2023 final

In the final, we therefore found the two favorite leagues of the competition, for a remake of the 2023 edition.
PACA (TS1) faced Occitanie (TS2), who beat Normandy in the semi-final (2/1).
Last year, it was Occitanie who won the French Interligues U14 Championship, becoming the first league to win this new formula (until 2023, the Youth Interligues mixed U14, U16 and U18).

A finale full of twists and turns

The first match of this grand final was swift: first point for PACA thanks to the clear and flawless victory of Tyrone Pottier and Paul Gueguen, against Noa Cailleau and Raphaël Jover, 6/4 6/0.

The second match was much more closely contested. Arthur Aureglia and Keny Vagliani of Paca faced Gabriel Bessiere and Yanis Bastide. After two balanced first sets (6/3 3/6), each ending with a break, everything came down to a thrilling third set. PACA leads 5/2, but Occitanie shows character: break back, comeback to 5/5 and title shot saved!
Gabriel and Yanis even managed to break to lead 6/5 and serve for the match. But Arthur and Keny didn't give up: they snatched the tiebreak and ended up winning, thus giving the title to PACA.

Occitania saves its honor

Despite this heartbreaking defeat for Gabriel Bessiere and Yanis Bastide on the Occitanie side, their honour was saved by the girls, Eva Delproque and Sienna Dubois, who won the last point of this final against Lou Raynier and Camille Gueguen, 6/1 6/3.

The final verdict

Final score:  2/1 for PACA, French U14 champion. 

The match for third place will pit Normandy against Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, to complete the podium of the French U14 Championships.
