An ambitious France
La France is this year among the big favorites to get a place in final, both in women and men.
But two nations stand like serious competitors for the European podium: Italy et Portugal, two solid selections on both the male and female levels.
The Gentlemen: a favorable but tricky group
The French men will play in the group B, without Spain — a definite advantage. The objective is clear: finish first for avoid La Roja in the semi-finals.
From their first match, the Blues will have a lot to do against Italy, in what is already shaping up to be a quarter-final before timeA victory would offer a royal road to the semi-final, probably against Portugal, another serious contender for this final.
The other nations in the group, the Netherlands and especially Germany, appear on paper a notch below from France.
The ambition is therefore simple: reach the final. For this, you will have to go out at the head of the group and avoid from the last square theSpanish arch-favorite, even deprived of its usual holders.
Group A: Spain untouchable, Portugal in ambush
In group A, spain should not meet no difficulty to finish first.
La second place should be played between the Portugal and Sweden, the latter however seeming a tone below.
THEEngland, present in this same group, is a figure of little thumb and will mainly aim to gain experience.

The Ladies: France – Italy, a crucial duel
In the women's category, the scenario is almost identical.
On blue are also found in the group B with Italy. The first opposition, between these two nations, promises to be decisive in winning the first place of the group and, again, avoid Spain in the semifinals.
Despite the presence of a reshuffled team, the Spanish selection remains the clear favorite for the title.
THEGermany and England complete Group B, but should not represent a real threat to the French and Italian.
In group A, we find spain, Portugal, Belgium et the Netherlands.
Again, little suspense: Spain will dominate without trembling, while the Portuguese team led by Sofia Araújo seems well on the way to catching the second place synonymous with semi-final.
