The European Padel Championships for Veterans in Pairs are in full swing, and the France is particularly well represented there. Many French pairs have qualified for the quarter-finals in the different age categories, both among gentlemen than among Women .
Men: several French duos in the quarter-finals
In the category + 35 years , two French pairs will be in the running on Thursday morning for a place in the last four:
- Matthieu Armagnac / Benoît Théard will face the Danes Mads Thunoe Laudrup / Marc Andreas Møller à 10:30 .
- Adrien Maigret / Maxime Forcin , another experienced duo, will face the Italians Nicola Remedi / Luca Mezzetti à 10:30 also.
At the + 40 years , the pair Morgan Mannarino / Norman Sanchez will cross paths with the Italian duo Alessio Luchetti / David Verde à 9h for a France – Italy duel.
En + 45 years , two French pairs will be on the slopes from 9h :
- Julien Datcharry / Nicolas Kischkewitz against the Dutch Jasper Sebastian Smit / Martijn Robbert Van Haasteren .
- Arnaud Di Pasquale / Arnaud Clément , our two former professional tennis players, will face Hector Carlos Palacios / Daniel Picard .
En + 50 years , the pair Christophe Henry / Frédéric Loriedo fought a great battle before losing in three sets (7/6 4/6 7/6) in the round of 16. There are no longer any French representatives in this category.
Finally, in the category + 55 years , the French Olivier Launo / Olivier Romary will play their quarterfinal on Thursday at 12 hrs facing the Spaniards José Maria Oltra / Jaime Morey .
Ladies: the French are also well represented
At the + 35 years , Charlotte Soubrié / Melissa Martin will be opposed to Alicia Keppenne / Astrid Dierckx à 20 hrs .
En + 40 years , Marie Lefevre / Julie Pécastaing will face Veera Nurmi / Michaela Björnström à 19 hrs .
At the + 45 years , Amélie Detrivière / Catherine Lalanne will try to secure their place in the semi-finals against the Belgian duo Sophie Hosten / Sofie Werckx à 19 hrs .
En + 50 years , two French pairs will be in action:
- Emmelien Lambregts / Géraldine Sorel against the Italians Sandra Lazzeretti / Marcella Lorenzin à 20 hrs ,
- Céline Verdier / Alexandra Fouquet salary. Nicole Wehrberger / Kristina Clement , also at 20 hrs .
Finally, in + 55 years , Nathalie Mancion / Catherine Bignotti will play 19:30 against the German duo Petra Lohse / Petra Richter .
