This is a turning point for one of the most ambitious projects in amateur padel. Initially planned for Dubai, the World Grand Final Padel Quest The scenery finally changes. The reason: the current conflicts and logistical complications which result in making the local organization too complicated.
But far from being a plan B, this change of course gives a whole new dimension to the event.
Barcelona rather than Dubai… and not just anywhere
The final will now take place at Barcelona , within the White Padel Center , the academy of Fernando Belasteguín , considered as the greatest padel player in history .
A highly symbolic venue to host a final that aims unique in the amateur landscape .
Barcelona — Bela Padel Center
November 5 to 8
Players who qualify during the regional phases in France will therefore have the opportunity to compete in the final phase in one of the most prestigious complexes in the world and above all to live an experience as close as possible to a sporting legend.
An ambitious project that breaks the mold
Launched with a strong idea, the World Padel Quest intended to opening the doors to an international experience for amateur players , whatever their level.
The concept is based on a progressive format:
- Local phases
- Regional phases
- Then one grand finale
With a simple promise: to enable everyone to experience an adventure worthy of the highest level , without being a professional player.
The tournament is structured in 16 categories divided between men, women, over 45s and mixed groups, in order to guarantee equity and accessibility .
A change of destination… without losing the essence of the project
Initially, the final was supposed to take place in Dubai, with a all-expenses-paid stay (flight, 5-star hotel, meals) for those who qualify. A proposal that had largely contributed to the success of the concept, with more than 1800 registered users across France .
But given the current constraints, the organizers preferred revise their work rather than compromise the experience .
And the new frame chosen is every bit as good as the original.
On the contrary, playing at White Padel Center It's about immersing yourself in a place steeped in history, in the heart of a country that is a benchmark for world padel.
Barcelona
The message is clear: the destination changes, but the ambition remains intact.
The winners of the regional phases will now have a new objective in mind:
qualify for Barcelona
and compete in an international final in a legendary padel venue
With this repositioning, the World Padel Quest confirms his willingness to to offer a different adventure accessible, but with a real event dimension.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
