The pair Chingalan has continued to shine since his debut on the circuit. It was already three tournaments ago, during the P2 of Puerto Cabello. After only a few rounds together, Fede Chingotto and Alejandro Galan have already reached three finals and two titles. A beginning... which reminds us of another!
In fact, these are our colleagues from Padel Intelligence which raises a very interesting point: the similarity between the debut of Galan/Lebron and Chingalan.
When Juan LeBron and Alejandro Galan started together by reaching directly to the final of the Marbella Master 2020. They finally lost to two key players: Paquito Navarro and Pablo Lima. Behind, the brand new pair on the circuit won the following four tournaments (three in Madrid, one in Valencia). In short, they won 22 of their first 23 meetings.
Doesn’t that remind you of anyone?
Indeed, on the same basis, Federico Chingotto and Alejandro Galan reached the final of Puerto Cabello, in their first tournament together. Afterwards, they won both titles, in Brussels and Seville. A start which recalls, to be mistaken, that of the Galan/Lebron pair…
The question now is: Are Chingotto and Galan capable of doing as well as the Wolf and Galantico ? To do this, we will have to win the next two tournaments, starting with Asuncion in Paraguay where previews start today.
However, we must not forget one essential fact: the Coello/Tapia ogre. The Spanish-Argentinian pair also got their association off to a perfect start, winning the majority of tournaments at the start of last year.
For now, Chingalan wins the debates since she won 2 of 3 matches against the numbers 1. But knowing the mentality of Arturo and Agustín, we say to ourselves that Pratto's players will want to take their revenge very quickly. Will they be able to do it in Paraguay?
It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
