The two round of 16 matches of Premier Padel P1 from Valencia lived up to all their promises.  On the one hand,  Maxi Arce and Juan Tello  won a real battle against  Lucas Bergamini and Javi Garrido . The other,  Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto  had to reverse a compromised situation against  Tino Libaak and Álex Chozas  to secure their place in the quarter-finals.

In one  marathon match ,  Maxi Arce and Juan Tello  displayed remarkable composure in overcoming  Lucas Bergamini and Javi Garrido  in three sets:  7/6 3/6 7/6 .

The four players remained neck and neck until the end, never managing to create a significant gap. Ultimately, it was in the decisive moments that the Argentinian pair made the difference, winning both tiebreaks to secure a place in the quarterfinals of the tournament.  Premier Padel P1 of Valence .

Chingotto and Galán overthrow Chozas and Libaak

The other match also offered a spectacular scenario. Long dominated,  Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto  seemed close to being eliminated in the face of  Álex Chozas and Tino Libaak who won the first set  6/2  and still controlled a good part of the second set.

But the world's number twos have gradually reversed the trend. Driven by a  Fede Chingotto was ever-present in difficult times Galán rediscovered his best form, allowing his team to equalize before sealing the victory.  2/6 7/5 6/4 .

Statistics also illustrate this increase:  Galán and Chingotto won 55% of the points in the match, compared to 45% for their opponents. , despite losing the first set. They also proved more effective on their serve with  73% of points won behind their first serve , against  65% for Chozas and Libaak .

These two mental victories now lead to a promising lineup in  quarter-finals  :  Arce / Tello  will face  Chingotto / Galan  for a place in the final four of the Valencian tournament.

Based on the performances in the round of 16, this confrontation promises to be particularly close between two pairs who have demonstrated their ability to manage moments of very high pressure.
