La  Professional Padel Association (PPA)  announced a new reorganization of its management following the departures of Álex Ruiz  (president) and  Martín Di Nenno  (vice-president).

It is now  Federico Chingotto  who takes over the presidency of the association of professional players, supported by the Brazilian  Lucas Bergamini , appointed vice-president. The role of  vocal  amounts to  Victor Mena , While  José Antonio García Diestro  retains his position as secretary.

Governance in transition

The PPA also indicates that it is working on a  possible extension of the number of members  and on a new governance structure, with the aim of strengthening the  transparency, efficiency and participation  players in decision-making.

After the storm, silence

These changes come in a particular context. In recent months, the PPA has led an unprecedented revolt: boycotting the tournaments of  Gijón  et  Cancún , virulent press conference against the FIP and Premier Padel, denunciation of a circuit deemed opaque and unbalanced. But after obtaining some concessions (such as the return to the old tables), the movement had run out of steam, giving way to a long silence.

Focus on 2026

The new management promises to revive the dynamic and will present at the meeting a  strategic plan for the end of 2025 and the financial year 2026 The stated objective: to consolidate a  Strong, united and durable professional padel , while defending players' rights.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
