In an interview for the Association of Padel Argentinian (APA), Federico Chingotto looks back on a remarkable season. Originally from Olavarría, the 27-year-old Argentinian impressed alongsideAlejandro Galán on the circuit Premier PadelTogether, they have reached 13 finals and won 5 titles in 2024. “I am in one of my best versions as a player,” explains Chingotto, well aware of the importance of this year for his career.
An intense season and constant work
This season is the result of hard work for Chingotto. “It’s every athlete’s dream to have a season with such good results.” Despite losing a few finals, he keeps a positive outlook: “We can be a little frustrated, but overall, it’s been a very good year.”
His association with Galán has allowed him to surpass himself. “We’ve been playing together for six months, and I think I’ve reached a new level as a player.”
World number 1 goal
Chingotto does not intend to stop there. His dream? To reach the top of the rankings. “It is the dream of every athlete to be number one in the world,” he confides. This goal is also shared with his team, in particular with Gabi, the Argentine coach: “We are working hard, it is a challenge that we have set ourselves together.”
