What a week ! A big promo for the padel

I was present on the WPT CHALLENGER CASA PADEL. The level of the exceptional table, with former world numbers 1: RECA AND NERONE.

CHINGOTTO AND TELLO ex top 8 coming back in force, CAPRA etc ..., with very close matches and an incredible show, all this showing us the very highest level in the world.

This event is a great promotion for the padel in France.

The organization of the CASA team was very high: welcome, organization, friendliness, professionalism, nothing to complain about: they lived up to their event.

The FFT continues to work on padel

We had last Saturday, on site, our 2nd meeting of the federal commission padel, which was very productive with the establishment of a development strategy padel. It is a priority for the FFT.

Some figures for the PACA league:

le PADEL IN PACA is 702 players ranked and 26 players in the top 100

141 ranked players and 24 players in the 100 top

  • For the regional championship (qualifying championship of France):

3 qualifying centers ( Padel Riviera Mougins, Country Club Aix, tc Toulon) or 31 teams and 10 teams qualified directly for the final phase (top 200) or 41 men's teams

and 1 only final single round for the ladies with 14 teams

in PACA, 55 teams for this edition.

  • At the French championships, 2 men's teams and 4 women's teams represented the PACA league
  • In PACA, we have 39 structures padel (31 clubs and 8 authorized structures), 93 courts, and 9 structures only have padel
  • Review of the 2018 events: 88 tournaments on the year (58 men and 30 ladies)

2019 PROJECTION of the PACA league

We have clear goals:

  • A harmonization of competitions, knowing that in our region, we realized that 16 structures organize no event.
  • IMPORTANT AXES:

Creation in PACA of the MIXED regional team championships and approved MESSORS, these will start at the end of November and the teams will be united in level divisions;

  • OTHER IMPORTANT AXES: OTHER PUBLIC

Organization of tournaments and a SENIORS PLUS circuit approved fft, from January.

Meetings / detections for young U12 U14 U16 on 5 structures during the year

  • Bringing together with all the clubs and structures in the region: development assistance, the establishment, creation of a padel.
  • Development of MIXED tournaments
