Le  Paris Major , played at Roland-Garros, redistributed some cards in the  FIP world ranking Between confirmations, progressions and falls, several notable movements come to modify the ranking.

Tapia / Coello widen the gap

Winners in Paris,  Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia  consolidate their status as  world number 1 Already well ahead, they are further increasing their lead over  Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto  with a lead of almost 6000 points.

Lebrón passes Yanguas again

In the  top 10 men , only major change:  Juan Lebrón  takes back 6th place at  mike yanguas . Further down,  Fran Guerrero  et  Javi leal  take advantage of their Parisian quarter-final to move up:  Guerrero  climb to the  15th place , Leal to the  18th rank .  Jairus Baptist  also continues its progression (+3, now 19th).

Conversely, the week is complicated for  paul cardona  et  Javi Garrido , who lose two places each. Cardona even leaves the  top 16 , bad news in view of the  First Finals .  Juan Tello  drops to 21st position and  Álex Ruiz  at the 25th.

Brea new world number 2

On the women's side, it's big news:  Delfi Brea  exceeds individually  Ari Sánchez  et  Paula Josemaría  to settle down alone at the  2th place in the world , just behind his partner  Gemma Triay A logical consecration after several months of regularity and titles.  Claudia Fernández , she remains in ambush and could soon overtake the former world number 1s.

Icardo and Goenaga / Caldera on the rise

Tamara Icardo , finalist in Paris, climbs to the  10th rank , rewarded for its solid season. The duo  Bea Caldera / Carmen Goenaga  continues its breakthrough, with three places gained each, now placing them in the  top 16 of the RACE , in a favorable position for the  First Barcelona Finals .

Conversely,  Alejandra Salazar  loses three places (13th) and  Jessica castelló  out of  top 16  after another poor performance.

RACE: Sanz in danger

The other major lesson concerns the  RACE 2025 . After his early elimination in Paris,  Jon sanz  finds himself outside the qualifying places for the Tour Finals. His announced association with  Paquito Navarro  in Rotterdam will be crucial if we hope to get back on track.

In the women's category, the dynamic is much better for  Goenaga / Caldera , now in front  Iglesias / Guinart  and approaching  Virseda / Calvo Their Parisian journey could be decisive in the race for Barcelona.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
