The new  FIP ranking  has been published and it brings a lot of good news for French padel. In the men's competition, green is clearly dominant with several notable improvements, starting with that of  Dylan Guichard , who crosses a symbolic threshold by joining for the first time in his career the  Top 100 worldwide .

Dylan Guichard rewarded for his excellent start to the season

This is the great satisfaction of this ranking. Thanks to his final at  FIP Bronze Rijswijk Dylan Guichard gains two places and achieves the best ranking of his career with a  99th place in the world .

A logical reward for the French number 1, who has been very consistent since the start of the season and who has been stringing together performances on the international circuit.

Bergeron, Fonteny, Seurin and Joris continue their progress

Behind Guichard, several French riders continue to climb.

Johan Bergeron  takes advantage of his quarter-final at  FIP Silver Höganäs  with Timéo Fonteny to gain eight places and reach the  156th place in the world .

His partner for the week,  Timeo Fonteny He too continues his progress with a place gained and a  169th worldwide .

A very good operation as well for  Julien Seurin , semi-finalist at  FIP Bronze Rijswijk  , which gains four places and now sits at  176th world rank .

Same dynamic for  Maxime Joris , quarter-finalist in Sweden with Jérémy Robert. He gains three places and finds himself  216th in the world .

Manuel Vives and Jérémy Robert are on the rise

The quarter-final achieved at  FIP Silver Höganäs  also bears fruit for  Manuel Vives , who has made one of the best climbs in the French Top 10, gaining seven places. He now occupies the  220th place in the world .

But the biggest gain of the week goes to  Jeremy Robert In great form these past few weeks, he gained fourteen places thanks to his excellent performance in Sweden and reached the  223th world rank .

Leygue falls back despite encouraging signs

The bad operation concerns  Thomas Leygue The Frenchman loses twelve places and finds himself  187th in the world .

A drop primarily due to the loss of points earned last season. However, the standings don't necessarily reflect its current momentum. Finalist of the  FIP Bronze Castellón  Having come close to qualifying for the main draw of the Italy Major, the French number 2 is showing encouraging signs, even if returning to his best level still requires time.

Bastien Blanqué  also loses a place and finds himself  164th in the world , While  Yoan Boronad  gains four positions to reach the  193th place .

Among the women, there were few changes

The women's rankings change less.

Alix Collombon  remains by far the number 1 French despite a slight drop of one place. She now occupies the  36th world rank .

Léa Godallier  keeps his  56th place in the world , as  Carla Toully , always  81th in the world .

Among the notable improvements,  Louise Bahurel  gains three places and reaches the  118th worldwide , notably thanks to his qualification in the main draw of the  FIP Platinum Tirana .

Camille Sireix  also gains a place and continues its progression within the Top 150.

Conversely,  Melissa Martin ,  Steffi Merah ,  Marie-Amelie Dardaine  et  Laura Buteau  lose some positions while  Kimy Barla  remains firmly installed in the  Top 200 worldwide  in 194th place.

A positive dynamic for French padel

While the women's rankings remain relatively stable, the trend is clearly positive for men. The entry of  Dylan Guichard in the world's Top 100 The progress of Bergeron, Seurin, Fonteny, Vives and Jérémy Robert testifies to the good health of French padel on the international circuit.

A momentum that the French team will try to confirm this week at the Italy Major of Rome .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
