The latest update of the  FIP ranking  confirmed what everyone suspected: Tapia and Coello dominate and Triay / Brea pass in front.

Winners at  Tarragona  against their main rivals  Galan and Chingotto ,  Agustín Tapia  et  Arturo Coello  are taking a further lead at the top of the rankings. The two men now have  19940 points i.e  more than 6000 units in advance  on their direct pursuers.

Behind them, Galán and Chingotto (13690 pts each) remain solid but powerless against the domination of the number 1, who won the  last three direct confrontations  in close finals but systematically won at key moments.

The top 5 is completed by  Franco Stupaczuk  (8705 pts),  Juan Lebrón  (7680 pts) and  Miguel Yanguas  (7632 pts), who are fighting for the places of honor.

 Triay and Brea, new queens of the circuit 

For the ladies, this is the other big news in this update:  Gemma Triay  et  Delfi Brea  officially become  the world's number 1 pair  ! A coveted place that they take  Ari Sánchez  et  Paula Josemaría , queens of the circuit since July 2023.

Triay retains the  first individual place  with 16920 points. Brea (14950 pts) remains in 4th position, while Ari and Paula remain 2nd and 3rd place (15630 pts each), but in pair weight it is Triay and Brea who are ahead of them, thus becoming the new queens of world padel.

The performance of the last few weeks of  Claudia Fernández ,  Bea González  or,  Sofia Araújo  allows them to remain firmly anchored in the top 10.  Alejandra Salazar , meanwhile, re-enters the top 10 in 10th place.
