The new FIP rankings have brought about significant movement on the French side, with several players making impressive progress. The big news of the week is the rise of  Timeo Fonteny , who officially becomes the new French number 2.

Fonteny takes a step forward

Thanks to his superb title won at  FIP Bronze Ljubljana  alongside the Swede  Albin Olsson Timéo Fonteny made the best progress for France this week.

The Frenchman wins  14 seats  and now rises to  153th world rank An ascent that allows him to surpass  Johan Bergeron  et  Julien Seurin  to become the new French number 2 behind Dylan Guichard.

At just 18 years old, Fonteny continues to confirm his full potential and is gradually establishing himself among the most successful French players on the international circuit.

Dylan Guichard returns to the Top 100

Still firmly established at the top of French padel,  Dylan Guichard  He too continues his progress.

Behind the new leading duo,  Johan Bergeron  loses a place and finds himself  165th in the world .

  •  Nicolas Rouanet  drops one place and now occupies the  234th world rank .

More setbacks in the women's category

For women, the week was generally less favorable.

Eliminated in the round of 32 of the  Valence P1 ,  Alix Collombon  loses two places and finds  37th in the world .

 Léa Godallier  keeps his  57th place in the world , While  Carla Toully  drops three places and now sits at  86th world rank .

The good news comes from  Louise Bahurel Thanks to her good FIP Gold Shanghai, she gains a place and reaches the  114th world rank , gradually approaching the Top 100.

 Camille Sireix  et  Melissa Martin  also gained a place, ranking respectively  133e  et  143rd in the world .

Conversely,  Steffi Merah  makes the worst move of the week. Eliminated prematurely at  FIP Bronze Lanzarote she loses  six seats  and goes down to  155th world rank .

Finally :

  •  Marie-Amelie Dardaine  keeps his  171th place in the world  ;
  •  Manon Marcarie  loses three places and becomes  175th in the world  ;
  •  Laura Buteau  drops one place in the rankings  188th in the world  ;
  •  Kimy Barla  remains stable at the  189th place in the world .

Between Timéo Fonteny's rise to the top and Dylan Guichard's return to the Top 100, the overall picture is positive for the men. For the women, the trend is more mixed, with several declines despite some encouraging progress.
