Le  Premier Padel P1 of Tarragona  didn't just put on a show on the slopes: he also had a  significant impact on international ranking , especially for several players who shone throughout the week.

Three names stand out in particular, with  spectacular leaps  after their remarkable performances in Spain.

Maxi Arce: +34 places, now 171st in the world

Associated to  Mario Huete  during this P1,  Maxi Maple  showed that he had a perfect place in the major tournaments of the circuit. His strong performance, concluded in the round of 1 against world number XNUMXs Coello/Tapia, allows him to  gain 34 places  in the FIP ranking.
He thus makes a leap to the  171th place in the world , another step in its successful transition since the shutdown of the A1 circuit.

Aimar Goñi: +68 places, enters the top 150

That is sure  the most impressive progression  : the young Spaniard  Aimar Goñi , author of an exceptional tournament alongside Mario Ortega, climbs from  68 seats  to reach the  138th world rank .
Revelation of the week in Tarragona after eliminating  Paquito Navarro and Bergamini,  then reached the quarters, Goñi confirms that he is one of the  great talents to follow  this season.

Mario Ortega: +27 places, now 74th

Another major beneficiary of this P1,  Mario Ortega  continues its progression. Already solid on the FIP circuit, its great adventure with  Goñi  allows him to win  27 seats  climbing to the  74th position , approaching his  best ranking reached at 61st place. 
A symbolic milestone, which rewards its  regularity  and his involvement on the various circuits this season.

With several more FIP Golds to come and the resumption of Premier Padel By the end of August, these progressions could be  the beginning of a lasting rise in power  for these three players. One thing is certain:  Tarragona's P1 will have marked a turning point for their season .
