Focus on point systems applicable to team competitions within the National 1, National 2, Interregional Conferences and Regional 1 Championships , according to the updated FFT regulations that came into effect in February 2026 .
These specific scales aim to harmonize the allocation of points for collective formats, taking into account both the competition level , number of teams involved and effective participation of the players .
A key principle: no points without a match played
The FFT reiterates several fundamental rules regarding the allocation of points:
- Pairs Championship
Points are not awarded that if at least one match has been played and won on the field .
Victories by WO not played do not give no points . - Team Championship
Only players:- declared on the official team lineup ,
- holders from a meeting,
- and having actually participated in the meeting ,
score points, even if the score was already decided at the time of their match.
- Special case of the winning WO
When a pair wins a match by WO (fixed score 6/0 6/0) The players declared winners are considered to have taken part in the match and score the corresponding points .
Conversely, players who declared WO score no points .
