We know what a special friendship you, the clubs and the companies who participated in the previous editions of the European Cup of Clubs of Padel, have never ceased to testify to the leaders of the European Association of Padel.

This is because, like ourselves, you have never stopped believing that our sport "the Padel ", Although crushed by the disaster of the pandemic and left to political decisions, did not renounce in its depths neither itself nor those who practice it.

Today, we see together that this conviction was justified. The abominable Covid 19 and the measures taken during the first wave, the effects of which on the development of padel crumbles piece by piece.

As soon as the clubs reopen, even with restrictions, the famous health barriers, your members and more new players have returned in droves to practice their sport.

Nobody in the world of Padel can no longer doubt that after the second wave, which is even heavier on your savings but also on everyone's morale, our clubs will see better times again.

Of course, the fight is not over yet. There is still a lot of effort for the clubs to provide and for the more recent ones who are suffering the full brunt of these periods of isolation, a lot of financial and moral suffering.

However, optimism is now so justified that spirits are rushing into the future.

I believe that you yourselves are already thinking of the day when it will be possible for you to open your clubs without restriction and to resume your activities there before the Covid 19.

The European Cup of Clubs Padel that you will find will be, in terms of the substance, those that were organized in 2017-2018-2019 and which will always be. Sportsmanship and the desire to always receive you in the best conditions will prevail.

Of course, the EFCA will have suffered a lot from the cancellation of its 2020 edition. The moral wounds will be healed, once again, as well as the financial losses will be repaired more or less quickly.

Of so many events, the leaders of the Organizing Committee of the European Cup of Clubs of Padel, will have learned, believe me, many lessons for themselves and for others.

You will find in 2021, an Edition more attractive, more organized, more concentrated than those that you have known.

There will always be players, players with flawless behavior, welcoming conditions allowing them to enjoy a big weekend of sport and relaxation conducive to great encounters.

But you will read in the eyes of the leaders who will receive you and whose competence you used to grasp until recently, you will be able to read something firm, proud, resolute which will be the new gaze of the EFCA. We, the leaders of the interior, are certain that this gaze of the EFCA will be for its loyal clubs and their representatives, more than ever, the gaze of friendship.

It will be for us and for you a reward for our efforts and perhaps we will then want to recognize without reservation that we have done a few things ourselves for the Padel in general.

We now have to unite to meet again in May 2021 in Malaga (Andalusia) and more particularly within the magnificent facilities of Club Léon 13.
