With his victory at the FIP Rise Mol and the 31 points collected, Clement Geens becomes the first male player to enter the world top 100. He now occupies 100th place in the FIP ranking. Among women, only Helena Wyckaert had already reached the world top 100. Today, it is still ranked 94th.

Clément Geens, for his part, continues to make his mark on Belgian padel. Last year, he had already made a name for himself by becoming the first player (male) to reach the last 8 on a tournament of World Padel Tour, the old professional circuit. It was in Amsterdam, alongside Benjamin Tison.

This is'a first objective achieved for the Belgian player. He does not know what his next goal will be, but the goal is “to always go higher".

It is alongside Dylan Guichard that he will start this new project. A freshly formed pair that we can find in Madrid P1. "We'll see how it goes with Dylan. The idea is to finish the year together and we'll analyze for the future afterwards.", he told us.

This association with Dylan will allow him in particular to have a regular partner. Something that he has never really had for the moment: “I never really had any fixed partners in the end. This year, I played with Marco Cassetta, Adria Mercadal, Maxime Deloyer, Thomas Leygue, Juan Ignacio Rubini, François Azzola… It’s quite tiring to always look for a new partner. In the end, it always went well for me".

Will Clément Geens continue to make history in his country's padel? That's all we wish for him.

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
