Padel Magazine - What the padel ? What is that ? But nobody plays padel ? Is it worth getting into this business?

If you are wondering, this article is directly addressed to you.

For two years, a club every quarter has been created in France. While their number increased only very slightly before, the padel has surreptitiously taken a turn to become an increasingly popular sport.

Le padel is a sport full of history which is developing in a very interesting way in France with many clubs created, brands and personalities who are launching and investing in the padel.

But who are they? What are these new clubs? A quick overview ...

More and more clubs padel… [/ Highlight]

Historical clubs: These precursors of padel  such as the Set Club (Aix-en-Provence), Hers, Paddle Plus (Toulouse), or the Castres club or even the many Marseille clubs have shown that betting on padel was possible.

The new clubs of padel : For more than a year, new clubs have emerged and initiated the renewal of the padel French like that of Auvers-sur-Oise, Le Real Padel Club in Sophia, Le Mas in Perpignan, Padel Park in Laval or even more recently, the clubs of Lyon (Central Padel), Carrières-sous-Poissy, Champigny, Bordeaux (Soccer Park), Servon (Futsoccer) and the Complexe in Manosque.

The city of Lille has also become in a few months a leader of padel French with two new and wonderful clubs of padel (Padel Attitude and Padel Sensation).

And many more are coming… From padel in Poitier, Rouen, Nantes, Strasbourg, Clermont, Montpellier, Cannes… It's coming soon.

In recent months, a new actor and not the least has embarked on the padel : Henri Leconte by developing his HLPC franchise (Henri Leconte Padel Club). He also franchised and inaugurated his very first club in Manosque (Le Complexe) three months ago.

Big franchises in football, stars, and other more specialized franchises should emerge at the beginning of next year… But shhh !!! We can not say more ... We just promise that lovers of padel will be in their eyes.

Major national competitions are emerging… [/ highlight]

There is of course the famous International Open of Aix-en-Provence which again offered us an enticing line-up with its new very well thought out 2014 organization.

The Mas tournament in Perpignan which recently gathered 97 pairs… A record!

Not to mention the exceptional Real tournament Padel which made it possible to present exceptional players from the padel World.

From now on it will also be necessary to count with the National Padel Cup, the launch of which is scheduled for October 27 at Cap d'Agde, with stars, initiations and beautiful exhibitions in perspective. To be continued ...

Personalities who love this sport… [/ highlight]

In Spain everyone plays padel. Spanish players also have their own clubs or franchises. The list will therefore never be complete. But it's not just them. The proof in picture:

We could not end this article without talking about Jérôme Golmard, extraordinary tennis player, certainly one of the most gifted of his generation, but also padel for nearly 10 years, who has also played 5 seasons alongside Nicolas Bourdarel. This pair will reach the French top 10 several times between 2006 and 2011 and will even manage to reach the quarter-finals of the Open d'Aix-en-Provence. We hope to see this pair on the pitch as soon as possible.

He is currently fighting a real fight of a different nature and we send him our full support.
