We will start with  a very important thing  on this July 16:  It's your Favorite Coach's birthday!  Yes, Zorrus is celebrating his... candles today!

Well, we're not going to spend the day there either, and to come back to our topic of the week, there were several playing at home during this tournament Premier Padel from Malaga !

The children of Andalusia: the pair  Paquito/Lebron , but also the natives of Malaga,  Yanguas  et  Ruiz , or  Momo Gonzalez , originally from Antequera… There are many more and so you will understand why Andalusia is the region of the last participant: padel!

And now the boys are getting into it too…  it's time for divorces and new couples  ! We let you read this on Padel Magazine ! As usual, “Coach Zorrus” offers us his analysis of the tournament.

There's nothing yet this week that's worth putting a little "red" on our diabolically gifted players!

The flops

  •  Libaak / Augsburger  : young people can't do it! When will we separate so that we can grow up faster?
  •  The Stupa / Di Nenno pair  : despite their semi-final, they can no longer do it and will therefore separate next week in Finland!
  • Small disappointment with the recent winners of Genoa!  Martita Ortega  et  Sofia Araujo  dryly beaten by “the old” Sainz / Llaguno
  •  Yanguas / Garrido  : eliminated in the round of 16 but the result certainly also comes from their future separation!

The tops

  • « Magic » Ari Sanchez and Paula Josemaria « The Dynamite ": 32 titles together on the circuit. They equal the record of  Mapi  et  Majo Ayaleto  (las Gemelas Atomikas). There is no doubt that the record will fall very quickly.
  • Our Frenchie  Léa Godallier  who lost in three sets against the world No. 2 pair Brea / Gonzalez. We want even more Léa!
  •  Coello / Tapia  : the discussion of the week apparently did a lot of good for both players!
  • The refereeing went very well, and it must be emphasized!

The finals movie

Among the ladies, even if this first part of the season is a little strange, it is the pair Ari Sanchez and Paula Josemaria who remain the queens. This final was quite strange because  Both teams have almost never played their best padel  at the same time which explains this score in the three rounds. The youth alongside the experienced Gemma Triay confirms all the good things we thought of her at the start of the season! As for Ari and Paula, I have the impression that they are still heading towards the place of world number 1...  To be continued  !

For the gentlemen, we always take the same ones and start again! Except that this final was the opposite of the last! Without any stroke of brilliance or genius on the part of the four players, this time, it is the turn of  the Coello / Tapia pair to inflict two dry sets  at " Chingalan » who never existed and could do nothing against, in particular, Agustin Tapia on fire ! We will inevitably witness an unprecedented final  in Finland because our four extraterrestrials will be absent  ! Certainly for a well-deserved rest...
