Arturo Coello et Agustín Tapia continue their journey to P1 of TarragonaThis Friday, the world number 1s validated their ticket for the semi-finals after a controlled but hard-fought victory against Martin Di Nenno et Leandro Augsburger, on the score of 6 / 3 7 / 6.
A first set under control
The first set quickly turned in favor of the number 1 seed. Coello and Tapia imposed their rhythm from the first exchanges, breaking quickly to lead 5/2, before concluding the set without trembling: 6/3.
A more close second set
The second set seemed to follow the same script, with a early break for favorites, and even a double break point at 3/1. But Di Nenno and Augsburger showed character, sticking to 4/4 and pushing the set to the tie-breaker.
A tie-break where the Coello/Tapia pair knew raise your voice at the right time, especially at the start of the tie break where they led 4/0. They finally won in two sets and went into the last four.
