La Reserve Cup is coming to Europe for the first time. After Miami, the prestigious tournament is setting up camp in Marbella, in the exceptional setting of Puente Romano (Roman Bridge), With the 16 best players in the world.

A prestigious inauguration

The opening night took place at Villa Serrana, in the presence of players, partners and special guests such as Carlos Moyá, Carolina Cerezuela ou Lara Álvarez.
The founder of the competition, Wayne boich, recalled the objective: "We wanted to create a unique event around padel. Marbella was a natural choice for our first in Europe."

Two teams, one innovative format

The competition pits two selections against each other:

  • Team Reserve (captain: Jimmy Butler, coach: Juan Martín Díaz)
    With Coello, Galán, Nieto, Cardona, Garrido, Diestro, Maxi Sánchez and Campagnolo.
  • Team Marbella (captain: Joaquín Sánchez, coach: Maxi Grabiel)
    With Tapia, Lebrón, Stupaczuk, Yanguas, Garcia, Barahona, Esbrí and Xisco Gil.

Star duels expected

Three days of competition with a key poster each evening:

  • Thursday : Galán / Cardona vs Lebrón / Stupaczuk
  • Friday : Coello / Galán vs Tapia / Lebrón
  • Open on Saturday : Coello / Nieto vs Tapia / Yanguas

A taste with PRO-AM

A tournament PRO-AM launched the week at New Alcantara Club, bringing together professionals and amateurs. The victory went to Maty Marina et Mark Groussman, who received a check for $40.
