The  men's quarter-finals  du  Valladolid Premier Padel P2  have delivered a highly anticipated final four, with a lineup that's already making mouths water:  Arturo Coello / Agustín Tapia  face  Juan Lebrón / Leo Augsburger . In the other semi-final,  Ale Galán / Fede Chingotto  will find the surprising  Javi Leal / Fran Guerrero , fallers of  Stupa / Yanguas .

Lebrón / Augsburger qualified without playing

The day began with bad news: the withdrawal of  Lucas Campagnolo / Momo González The Brazilian, suffering from a physical injury, was unable to enter the track, thus handing direct qualification to  Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger .

An effortless qualification for the Spanish-Argentine pair, who will therefore arrive fresh in the semi-final to challenge the world number 1s.

Coello / Tapia without trembling

On their side,  Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia  did the job in the face of  Jairo Bautista / Íñigo Jofre , with a victory in two sets:  6 / 1 6 / 4 .

In front of his home crowd in Valladolid,  Coello  He continues his run with Tapia in a tournament where both men are gaining momentum. The score seems clear, even though Bautista and Jofre had a few opportunities, particularly on break points. But against the world number ones, missed opportunities are quickly punished.

Leal/Guerrero take down Stupa/Yanguas

This is the big surprise of these quarter-finals.  Javi Leal and Fran Guerrero  They pulled off a major upset by eliminating the 4th seed.  Franco Stupaczuk / Mike Yanguas , on the score of  7 / 6 6 / 4 .

In a very close first set, the two pairs went to a tiebreak. And there, Leal and Guerrero pulled out all the stops, inflicting a  7-0  to their opponents. A real turning point in the match.

In the second set, Stupa and Yanguas tried to respond, but uncharacteristic errors piled up. Meanwhile, Leal and Guerrero seized their opportunity at the right moment with a decisive break, before closing out the match.

For  Javi leal This is undoubtedly his best match of the season. After a difficult start to the year, between injuries to  paul cardona  and several changes of partner, the Andalusian seems to be regaining stability and confidence alongside  Fran Guerrero .

Galán / Chingotto strong against Navarro / Di Nenno

The last quarter-final saw  Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto  to impose oneself against  Paquito Navarro / Martin Di Nenno  :  6 / 1 6 / 4 .

Jorge Martínez's men quickly took control of the match. Despite a minor setback for Chingotto, who had to briefly leave the court before returning normally, the Spanish-Argentine pair did not lose their momentum.

Galán and Chingotto therefore continue their journey and will meet again in the semi-finals  Leal / Guerrero , two players they know very well.
