French women are shining this week on the  FIP Tour  with some very good performances on the side of  FIP Silver Oeiras  in Portugal and from  FIP Silver London .

Collombon and Sharifova are gaining momentum in Oeiras

For their very first tournament together,  Alix Collombon  and the Russian  Ksenia Sharifova  increasingly impress at  FIP Silver Oeiras .

After a dominant performance in the round of 16 against the Spanish  Patricia Roman Aldea / Ainhoa Navarro Fernandez  (6/1 6/1), the Frenchwoman and her partner confirmed their form in the quarter-finals with a very impressive victory against the 5th seed  Marina Lobo / Noemi Aguilar Carrillo  :  7 / 6 6 / 3 .

A solid victory against a top-level pair. Collombon and Sharifova once again showed great promise in their game, displaying already very promising chemistry for a recently formed partnership.

Thanks to this victory, they have reached the semi-finals where a big challenge awaits them against the 3rd seed.  Araceli Martinez / Laura Lujan Rodriguez .

The match is scheduled for  9 noon on the center court .

Touly continues to unfold in London

The side of  FIP Silver London ,  Carla Toully  also made a very strong start to the tournament with the Spanish player  Amanda Lopez Morale .

After a swift and successful entry into the competition  6 / 0 6 / 0 The two players confirmed their form in the quarter-finals with a solid victory against the 6th seeded Dutch team.  Stephanie Weterings / Janine Hemmes  :  6 / 1 7 / 6 .

Another convincing performance for the French and Spanish players who seem very confident since the start of the tournament.

In the semi-finals, they will face the number 2 seeds, which are...  Lucia Sainz Pelegri  and the young  Jana Montes Cabruja .

A complicated match on paper, but there could be an opportunity against a very recent pair who may still lack some automaticity.

The meeting is scheduled for  9:30 p.m. on center court .

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
