On the circuit  Premier Padel The tournaments are divided into several categories:  Major, P1 and P2  the  P2  represent the third level of the circuit, but remain important competitions for players looking to  accumulate FIP points and secure financial gains  throughout the season.

Here is how they are distributed  points and prize money  in a tournament  P2 .

 The distribution of FIP points

In a tournament  P2 The points distributed are the same for men and women.

Here is the breakdown:

  •  Winners: 600 points
  •  Finalists: 360 points
  •  Semi-finalists: 180 points
  •  Quarter-finals: 90 points
  •  Round of 16: 45 points
  •  Round of 32: 22 points

Bonus points also exist for qualifications This allows players who qualify to start scoring points even before the main draw, as those who manage to qualify for the main draw earn 5 bonus points. Players who reach the final round of qualifying earn 15 points.

The points awarded in a  P2 points remain lower than P1 (1000 points for the winners) and Majors (2000 points) , but they play an important role in the fight for world ranking.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
